    Police in Townsville have charged a woman following an alleged assault in Townsville early this morning. At around 1am police attended a service station on Riverway Drive in Condon following reports a man had walked to the business with a stab wound to his stomach. Officers conducted patrols and located a woman walking along Falcon Crescent who was subsequently taken into custody.
